The Commerce depatment of Nemgonda Dada Patil Night College was established in Since it's inception the department is hightly active and fulfiling all types of needs of Nights college students of commerce faculty. 90% of Commerce faculty student s are working students. These students are comming from city of Sangli as well as from rural areas of sangli. Simoultnously, while learning the students of this college are working in differnt areas such as, helpers, drivers, fabricators, accounts clearks, offi ce assistants, farm labours, street vendors, etc.

     The Commerce department of the college is providing special attention towards all types ot needs to develop their skills and career. Apart from teaching regular commerce syllabus which is prescribed by the Shivaji university, department is also providing different skills and developing entrepreneurial qualities of the students.

• To teach and train the students regular commerce syllabus prescribed by the Shivaji university.
• To develop and impart value based commerce carriculam as per needs of the students
• To develop the entrepreneurial and managerial skills with help of practical activities like industrial visits, bank visits, and participation in social activities
• To organise workshops, seminars on pertinent subjects

Eligibility for admission for B. A. I course is as per prescribed rules given by the Shivaji university.

Admission for B. A. Course is given to eligibile students as per Shivaji University Norms.

College conducts semister patten examinations as per Shivaji University Norms.

After complition on B. A. Course the students can work as __________, Managers in private as well as public enterprises. They can also appear for competitive exam. They can further enroll for PG Courses like M. A. etc.
