In order to prevent sexual harassment and provide protection to working women and girl-students at works place, this cell has been formed. It functions as per Government and University guidelines. The Cell as well functions for gender equality & gender justice in all its intervention & practices . It is responsible for looking into any complaints filed by students & staff about Woman Grievances at the college.
It Conducts meetings, organizes speeches, group discussions on gender equality and women empowerment. As an innovative practice the cell occasionally publishes special wall paper issnes news and press cuttings
According to the Hon. Supreme Court of India definition of sexual harassment is any unwelcome sexually determined behavior, such as:

• Physical contact and advances
• Demand or request for sexual favours
• Sexually Colored remarks
• Any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature

• Women’s Empowerment through Education.
• Solving women related issues and complaints.
• Creating awareness about women’s welfare and conducting programmes concerning women’s welfare.
• Handle case works and counselling.
• Improving interpersonal skill.
• Creating awareness against harassment.
• Promotion of gender amity.
• Organizing seminar/workshops on legal rights of women.
• Organize cultural programmes with the basic objectives of increasing awareness in women.

During this academic year 2016-17 this cell has been renamed as Internal Complaint Committee ( ICC). It has conducted four meetings. It has organized workshop on “Sexual Harassment of women at workplace prevention, prohibition and redressal Act 2013” on 27/02/2017. More than 80 participants (Students, Teachers) have attended and actively participated in it. The workshop was organized in order to create awareness about new rules and regulations of Act 2013 especially made for women’s protection. Workshop was sponsored by Mahila Aayog Maharashtra state Mumbai. This Committee has also displayed a special issue of wall paper on Women empowerment. Members of this committee have attended some workshops based on the new laws and regulations to protect women and girl students at college.
