The department of Commerce is active since the beginning of the college that is from 1983. The department of Commerce is upholding the responsibility to teach commerce subjects such as Management, Marketing, Economics, Banking, Cooperative Development and Accountancy to the Commerce Stream students. It adheres to impart the curricula as per University prescription.

To cater the needs of the students of night college the commerce department is contributing its efforts by arranging guest lectures on various subjects on regular basis, arranging industrial visits, banks visits, participating in different event management programs, helping and encouraging students to attend workshops, seminars on various subjects, etc.

The most important contribution from commerce and management is development of skill and entrepreneurial development cell in the college. This cell is helping the students to understand their potential and develop themselves as young entrepreneur.
