Latthe Education Society is one of the well-known educational institutions in western Maharashtra having 38 branches in Sangli, Satara and Kolhapur district. Nemgonda Dada Patil Night Collage is the only Night College in Sangli District, which is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Latthe Education Society started the Night College on non-grant basis on 15th June, 1983 with the noble aim of providing a golden opportunity of higher education to needy students and enables them to complete their education. A number of students who are deprived of the opportunity of the higher education get the opportunity to work during day time and attend the college in the evening. In other words the society opened the doors of higher education to needy students who are struggling to get education on the basis of earn and policy.
